Kimberly Noel Kardashian was born on October 21, 1980 in Los Angeles, California. Kim is an American socialite, television personality, model, actress and businesswoman. She is known for the E! reality series that she shares with her family—Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Kardashian is the daughter of attorney Robert Kardashian and his wife Kris Kardashian. Her father was a third generation Armenian American, and her mother is of Dutch and Scottish descent. Kardashian has two sisters, Kourtney and Khloé, and one brother, Robert. She has stepbrothers Burton Jenner, Brandon Jenner, and reality TV star Brody Jenner, step-sister Casey Jenner, and half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
Her first acting role was in the television series Beyond the Break. Later, she starred in the 2008 disaster film spoof Disaster Movie. She also appeared in How I Met Your Mother episode Benefits, 90210, WrestleMania XXIV, a judge in America\'s Next Top Model, and CSI:NY.
Also, in December 2007, Kardashian posed nude for Playboy. Kardashian co-owns a clothing boutique called D-A-S-H with her sisters Kourtney and Khloé. She launched her own fragrance, created jewelry, and has released various clothing lines.
In March 2009, Kardashian launched an endorsement with ShoeDazzle shopping, of which she is the co-founder and chief fashion stylist. Kardashian released a workout DVD series, Fit In Your Jeans By Friday. In September 2009, Fusion Beauty and Seven Bar Foundation launched Kiss Away Poverty, with Kardashian as the face of the campaign. One dollar goes to the Foundation to fund women entrepreneurs in the US for every LipFusion lipgloss sold.
Kardashian is the producer of The Spin Crowd. Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé wrote an autobiography entitled Kardashian Konfidential. She filmed a music video for a song titled Jam (Turn It Up.) Kardashian's 2010 earnings were the highest among Hollywood-based reality stars, being estimated at $6 million.
In 2000, Kardashian married music producer Damon Thomas, but divorced in 2004. She has dated R&B singer Ray J, NFL star Reggie Bush, and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. Also, she has been spotted with model Gabriel Aubry. On August 20, 2011, she married NBA player Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets, but divorced on October 31, 2011.
