Madonna is an American dancer, recording artist, actress, and entrepreneur. Madonna was born on August 16, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan. She is the daughter of Madonna Louise, who was of French Canadian descent, and her father, Silvio "Tony" P. Ciccone, was a first-generation Italian American Chrysler/ General Motors design engineer. Her siblings are Paula Mae, Anthony, Martin, Melanie, and Christopher.
Madonna is listed in the Guinness World Records as the world's most successful female recording artist of all time. She is titled the "Queen of Pop" and has sold over two hundred million records worldwide with an estimated net worth of $490 million.
In 1977, Madonna started a career in modern dance and in 1983 released her self-titled debut album. Other albums: Like a Virgin (1984), True Blue (1986), Like a Prayer (1989), Erotica (1982), Bedtime Stories (1994), Ray of Light (1998), Music (2000), American Life (2003), Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005), and Hard Candy (2008).
Madonna has acted in 22 productions earning a Golden Globe Award for the 1996 film "Evita." Madonna was raised as a Catholic, but converted to Kabbalah. Some of her hobbies are horseback and bike riding, fishing, and clay pigeon shooting.
In 1985, Madonna married Sean Penn, an actor, but divorced fours years later. In 2000, Madonna married Guy Ritchie, a British film director, but divorced in 2008. Madonna has 3 children, a daughter named Lourdes, by former personal trainer Carlos Leon, a son Rocco, by Guy Ritchie, and David Banda, her adopted son from Malawi.
Madonna has a very athletic body. She sure doesn't look her age.

Madonna is my idol. I have seen her in concert.. her show is unlike any other. She gives off so much energy as well as the crowd... an outstanding performance.
