Will Smith, an American actor, singer, and film producer, was born on September 25, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Smith is the son of Caroline, who worked for the Philadelphia school board as a school administrator, and his father, Willard Christopher Smith, Sr., was a refrigeration engineer.
While in school, Smith was given the nickname "Prince" which eventually turned into the "Fresh Prince". Will started rapping and began collaborating with Jeff Townes. He performed the songs "Parents Just Don't Understand" and "Summertime." In the 1980's, Smith launched his acting career with the sitcom, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
Smith has been nominated for four Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and has won multiple Grammy Awards. Will was recognized as the most powerful actor on the planet, according to Newsweek. Smith has been listed in Fortune Magazine's "Richest 40" list of the forty wealthiest Americans under the age of 40. In 2005, Smith was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for attending a record breaking three premieres in a 24-hour time span.
Will Smith has been in many films, but here are just a few. He starred in (1995) Bad Boys, (1996) Independence Day, (1997) Men in Black, (1998) Enemy of the State, (2004) I, Robot, (2006) The Pursuit of Happyness, (2007) I Am Legend, and (2008) Hancock.
Smith has donated money to Katrina victims and $4,600 to the presidential campaign of Democrat Barack Obama. Will enjoys playing chess and golf. He wrote the children's book Just the Two of Us.
In 1992, Smith married Sharee Zampino and they had a son together named Trey, but divorced in 1995. In 1997, Will married Jada Pinkett and they have two children Jaden and Willow.

Thank you for having your son do karate kid. He has inspired me to do Karate/Kung Fu. Thanks Jaden!! :P. I really liked The Karate Kid Movie plus The persuit of happyness, Bad Boys Collection, and The Day the Earth Still Stood. I would be scream so loud to meet you Will Smith and the rest of your family if I could and I wish I could with my family too. My mom watches Jada Pinkett Smith on The show Hawthorne and My sister loves your kids, movies, and shows.
